ECC to Go After Patience Jonathan Over Alleged N1trillion Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) may soon invite, Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan for interrogation.

The EFCC is reportedly concerned about Mrs Jonathan's role in the sourcing and disbursement of huge funds spent by the presidency during the last two weeks before the general elections; Naij reports.

The fund, estimated at over a trillion naira, was reportedly disbursed through the Amnesty office to some political bigwigs in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
