Borno Central Senatorial By-election, the true verdict finally prevailed..

As it is obvious that the candidate of our great party the APC, Babakaka Bashir Garbai whom many of us ganged up against purely on issues of principle is coasting home with victory, I think it is pertinent to join the good people of Borno Central Senatorial District in sending my best wishes.

The election was hard fought against a worthy opponents, but I feel that it was the clarity of your message and the SUPREME WILL OF ALMIGHTY that ensured you a victory.

This is indeed a lesson and reminder to all political office holders to work in accordance with people oriented programs at the grassroot levels to bring about the much desired catalyst for social and economic development.

I urge the Senator elect to be magnanimous in victory and the other aspirants should cooperate and work in harmony with the senator to hasten development.

I commend the plenitude of our great YOUTHS, the Borno TAFI JAM'IYYA group and indeed everyone for creating an amenable ground towards a vibrant opposition in the state, I urge us all to sustain the tempo so as to engage our leaders constructively in the task of propelling our dear state to greatness.

In any contest like this one, definitely there must be a winner, but in this case, I see each and every one of as winner putting into consideration the vast awareness created and the healthy nature of the entire process that led to the emergence of the winner.

I also appreciate the INEC officials, the security agencies and all those who assiduously worked for the peace and orderliness of this historic election.

I am confident that the trust placed in you by the good people of Borno Central Senatorial District will inspire you to consolidate on your 7 points security agenda and initiate a legislative agenda that will lead us on the path of prosperity, further wellbeing and security of our people.

I look forward to working with you so as to develop a more holistic, workable and implementable legislative strategy towards repositioning and rebuilding of our already shattered state.
