7 Nigerians Stole N5.5Trillion During Goodluck Jonathan's Regime, Aisha Buhari Reveals
Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday evening said that 7 Nigerians stole N5.5trillion, Daily Correspondents report.
Mrs Buhari made the disclosure while hosting over 1500 Social Media Change Agents to an end of the year dinner in the Presidential villa.
''N5.5 trillion was embezzled by only 7 people. Young people should monitor monetary allocations to ministries and demand judicious use of same'', Mrs Buhari told her guests, which cut across all the ethnic group in the country.
She also told her guests that the present administration will be spending N3.3 Trillion to cater for 24 million unemployed Nigerians by the time the Federal Government began full implementation of its campaign promises of paying N5000 monthly stipend to the unemployed youths.
Mrs Buhari, while urging Nigerians to be patient with the Federal Government going by the present hardship being experienced in the country, appealed to the APC-led government to fulfil all its campaign promises.
