FEDERAL GOVT WILL COMPLETE ABUJA – KADUNA RAILWAY LINE IN 2016 – AMAECHI
The Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi has said that the Abuja -Kaduna double gauged line railway will be completed in 2016.
Amaechi also reteirated the Federal Government's determination to revamp the railway sub sector for national integration by encouraging mass transit of passengers and goods across the geographical regions of the country.
The minister, who stated this during the press conference organised shortly after the conclusion of his facility visits of parastatals in the Federal Ministry of Transportation, said that railway sector has suffered neglect due to poor policy initiation and implementation by previous administrations in the country.
