Hope Warrior of The Year 2015 Comrade Ogunlola Yusuf Olayinka

If I was asked who best Personifies the Spirit of a Hope Warrior, I would direct you to Comrade. As a child growing up in Nigeria he lost his father and was sent to live with relatives and to survive he was forced into Child Labor on the streets of Nigeria. Comrade has this contagious spirit of Hope and he sees challenges as a gift. His faith never shattered by tumultuous Childhood. So Comrade got an Education, which was no easy task. His wings never damaged by adversity this young Warrior thrives.

Today Comrade Ogunlola Yusuf Olayinka Tutors and Teaches Math to Nigerian Students in schools where they need a little extra help. Never a season passes where Comrade is not gathering supplies, or food or clothing for the families struggling in towns and villages.

There is never a conversation with Comrade where he is discouraged, he mastered a way to take his broken wings and fly. I think what i admire most is his uncanny ability to find the best in every difficult situation. His tutoring, his charity work, all his small way of paying it forward.

I want to live in the Nigeria that this young man envisions.

For being the quintessential Hope Warrior in Spirit, Heart and Deed for Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace.
