Kogi Supplementary poll: Yahaya Bello in early lead
Results of some of the 91 polling units where supplementary poll are ongoing in Kogi State have started pouring in, with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alh. Yahaya Bello in early lead against his People's Democratic Party counterpart, Capt Idris Wada.
In Odo Ape Ward of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area where election is taking place in one unit, APC scored 41 votes against PDP's 18 votes. APC also won by a margin of 3 votes in the unit where election took place at Ayetoro Kiri Ward.
Vanguard reporters also reported that APC is leading massively in some of the units in Kogi Central, the home of the party's candidate.
Reports also indicated that voting and counting are still ongoing in some of the polling units in Kogi East which experienced some security hitches.
The Independent National Electoral Commission is expected to declare the winner of the poll today.
