SHOCK! Jose Mourinho offered another huge job at old club,SEE WHICH?
Jose Mourinho has been offered the chance to replace Rafael Benitez with immediate effect at Real Madrid.
This is according to the Sunday Times, who understand that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is eager to bring the Portuguese coach back to the Bernabeu as a replacement for Benitez as soon as possible.
However, the report adds that Mourinho would prefer a move to Manchester United, amid speculation the Premier League giants are on the brink of parting company with the beleaguered Louis van Gaal.
Van Gaal hinted after United's 2-0 defeat to Stoke City on Boxing Day that he could resign following a catastrophic run of results.
According to the Daily Mail, the veteran Dutch coach is preparing to quit if he fails to prevent United slumping to a fifth consecutive defeat against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Monday.
