DASUKIGATE AND OUR ECONOMIC TERRORISTS!
I hear some persons particularly those of PDP extraction are fighting the DSS and the FGN for flouting the Constitution in detaining those suspected to have taken part in the illegal act of sharing money meant for the purchase of arms to fight the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents. They argue that the Federal authorities should follow DUE PROCESS in handling the likes of Olisa Metuh and co who despicably allowed fellow innocent Nigerians to be killed, maimed and even raped while they celebrated the increase in their yarn barns courtesy of the Office of the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

My question is: Was DUE PROCESS followed when $2.1bn was divided as a
spoil of war? Why does any right thinking Nigerian, under the pretense
of Constitutionality advocate for Due Process in the way and manner
these economic terrorists called politicians took advantage of President
Jonathan's weaknesses in governance to share money meant to save lives?
We seem always to be more concerned with the rich and the way they are being treated by Law Enforcement Agencies, particularly when they are 'involved' in such premeditated crimes, while we careless about the poor Nigerians who are bundled and abandoned in jail on mere trumped up charges.
It is pertinent to remind these Apostles of the Constitution that our fundamental HUMAN RIGHT is concomitant to our fundamental HUMAN DUTIES! Where we fail to live up to our responsibilities and perform our duties as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we should not expect to be protected by the same Constitution. There is no father Christmas in this business.
