Wike's former aide pledges loyalty to Amaechi, Peterside
Former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Rivers State governor, Mr Opunabo Nko-Taria, has declared support for the efforts by the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the April 11, 2015 governorship election, Dr Dakuku Peterside and the Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, to wrest power from Governor Nyesom Wike.
Nko-Tariah in a statement Thursday, in Port Harcourt, said he was in support of Peterisde because he had seen the need for change.
He said: "Some persons may ask why I am supporting Peterside. It is simple. There comes a time when time itself needs change. For me this is that time."
He promised to work for Peterside's victory if the Supreme Court orders a re-run election in the state, expressing the hope that Peterside will put smiles on the faces of people of the state.
