Does the vintage position or privileged condition of superior knowledge of the law irreversibly confer any high moral and ethical disposition on the beholder?
If we take out the moral and ethical force , respectively, from a man and his profession, what is left of the man and his profession - morally bankrupt man brandishing a worthless ethically challenged profession? .......The nation is just waking up to the reality of the multi dimensional and tricky subtlety of class realignment.- CORRUPTION FIGHTS BACK!!?- Looters and the Looted...oppressors and oppressed
The record has just been set - the largest gathering ever of elite legal minds.- SAN....93 of them, to be precise, sadly though,in harmonious solidarity for a colleague under criminal investigation....excuse the learned men, because in their superior sense of history and patriotic sensibility no calamity had befallen the nation that measures to the consequential equivalent of an impending disgrace of a senior colleague under criminal investigation with high probability of conviction- hence the attendant attraction of such huge gathering of eminent legal minds . .we dare not say Ali Baba and the forty thieves. But we can fit it better as EFCC and the 93 SANS....
A so called SAN , ( Senior Advocate of Nigeria) Ricky Tafa......and his band of local confederate of sympathisers, altogether numbering a total of 93 SAN. Stormed the high Court where he was arraigned to answer the following charges
1)hiding two criminals who were under the hot chase of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission on his Mercedes-Benz utility sport car.
2( illegally communicating with a judge and bribery of same, to the tune of 255,000,....ledt I forget, the Man, Ricky Tafa , spared us the agony of a long drama by admitting that he doled out that money under suspicious circumstance, but it was not bribery - rather a donation to the judge to bury his father in-law.......MANIFEST ERROR....The judge and his in-law are Muslims...and Muslims bury their dead within hours...they don't need such huge amount for burial ceremony , let the lawyer find another story for the marines.
As it stands now, the repulsive moral and ethical gravity of the 93 SANS...are sharpened to save a colleague from judicial prosecution / trial / conviction via intimidation of the trial judge and the Court,- a sacred mission more than any pretentious to binding legal ethics and moral suation ,
In effect President Buhari knew exactly what he meant when he said the Judiciary is his greatest obstacle in his anti -corruption crusade....if you still have doubt then listen to Nelson Wike's confession and admission after the Supreme Court verdict.
