Putin denies using his dog to scare Angela Merkel!!!
Vladimir Putin says he didn’t mean to scare Angela Merkel with his dog, despite the legend that has developed around it. Merkel is reportedly terrified of dogs, but at a 2007 meeting Putin made a point of bringing his large black Labrador, Connie. Germans, and a lot of other people, are convinced he did it deliberately (photos show Merkel looking very uncomfortable while Putin smirks). But he told German reporters this week it’s not true: ” “I showed her my dog because I thought she would like it. I told her so later and apologized.”
