JUST IN: 2 wounded as Soldiers, militants clash during attempt to blow pipelines in Delta

Two of the soldiers recently deployed to the Niger Delta region by President Muhammadu Buhari to quell further destruction of oil installations had been reportedly wounded during a clash with suspected militants who were at the edge of blowing up pipelines along the creeks of Odidi community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

It was reliably gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday.
