WRONG AUDIENCE
==============================
=====
.
When president Jacob Zuma chose to visit Nigeria at this time, of all other
times, I never needed my thinking cap to
understand the intrigues behind the visit.
.
Since the collapse of Apartheid, South
Africa businesses have flourished in Nigeria, exploiting Nigerians, paying
meagre wages, evading tax and
repatriating humongous profits annually.
Nigerians know all these , including the
humiliation we face when we apply for
SA visas, while nationals of countries that supported apartheid require no visa
to enter SA. Nigerians know.
.
We also know about the repatriation of
124 Nigerians from SA in march 2012,
over alleged 'forged immunization cards'. We also had it in good authority
that those Nigerians suffered that fate
because they traveled on a Nigerian
carrier.
.
Yes we know. We know that at the peak of boko haram killings and mass
destructions in Nigeria, SA seized the
funds meant to procure Arms to fight the
demons.
.
Not long ago, Nigerians who reside in SA, and doing their legitimate
businesses were hounded, harassed ,
intimidated, brutalized and
dehumanized, with their properties
worth millions of dollars, looted and
destroyed. All under the gleeful eyes of South Africa government and their
security agencies, all in the name of
xenophobia.
.
In the face of all these, The SA
authorities have been very indifferent. Now because a fine was imposed on
MTN, and having weighed it as being
huge enough, President Jacob Zuma is
here, reminding us about how we
played a big brotherly role in the fight
against apartheid. Unfortunately, the president was SPEAKING TO A WRONG
AUDIENCE, who was not interested in his
sermons.
.
To the SA business community, he is a
listening President. But to Nigerians, especially those who lost loved ones to
boko haram attacks, owing to MTN's
greed, insensibility, insouciance and
pococurantism, then he is a traitor.
Especially now that Our president has
confirmed that such negligence by MTN led to the death of about ten thousand
Nigerians.
.
Nigerians are interested in this matter,
more than ever before. Not Even a dime
should be deducted from that fine. MTN must pay to the last kobo........ZUMA OR
NO ZUMA.
>>>>>>>That is my candid opinion.
